For MRI applications, IECO provides Gradient amplifiers, high stability magnet power supplies and feed-through filters.
IECO gradient amplifiers feature a modular design that allows flexible matching to a wide range of gradient coils to different current and voltage levels. Compact amplifier units can be connected in series or in parallel operation to gain output voltages up to 1400 V and output currents up to 1200 A. Multi coil installations can also be supported.
Amplifiers are available in the following standard cabinet configurations, or as single amplifier modules. Amplifier cabinets include a robust, power factor corrected AC-Unit.
3-Axis Gradient Amplifier
Compact 3-axis gradient amplifier. Bandwidth of over 10 kHz with excellent noise characteristics. Tuning program to load (31 different coils supported) and versatile diagnostics included. 3 phase or 1 phase AC input supported.

3-Axis Gradient Amplifier Cabinets
IECO Gradient Amplifier Cabinets are 3-axis gradient systems, including amplifiers, capacitor banks, AC/DC section, and interface to customer’s control system. Both 400 and 480 VAC input voltages are supported. 208 VAC is supported with custom version. All hardware is integrated into heavy duty cabinets of 1200 or 1800 mm in height, depending on the configuration. Due to IECO’s modular hardware also 1- or 2-axis configurations can be implemented.

High Stability Magnet Power Supplies with 0.1 ppm level
High stability magnet power supply is a highly specialized instrument providing extreme stability in output current (less than one millionth). IECO is one of the few companies in the world that designs and manufactures high stability magnet power supplies with 0.1 ppm (parts per million) level. The company made its first high stability magnet power supply already in 1994.
Very stable magnetic field is extremely important e.g. with High Temperature Superconductive (HTS) magnets for MRI, or in other applications requiring extreme stability in output current. Due to their switched-mode design, IECO units also operate at higher efficiency than traditional solutions.
MRI Feed-Through Filters
The IECO Panel Feed-Through Filters are used to suppress high-frequency noise or electromagnetic interference (EMI) and are used when cables are routed through a metal chassis or shielded enclosure.
